CoinAgenda gathers web3 professionals in Monaco

CoinAgenda is currently underway at the Meridien, bringing together experts and the crypto-curious to talk blockchain and cryptocurrency. CEO at Transform Ventures and CoinAgenda Organiser Michael Terpin tells us more.

Monaco Life: What kind of audience is CoinAgenda targeted at?

Michael Terpin: The CoinAgenda audience is investors and entrepreneurs, crypto funds, family offices, VCs and strategic partners. CoinAgenda has been the leading global blockchain conference series since 2014 so the events bring out many of whom would be considered ogs in the space.

The crypto industry has seen an unprecedented rise in popularity these past two years, but plenty of mystery still surrounds it and the general public are still largely uneducated. Why do you think it is important for people to understand this industry?

Crypto and blockchain are transforming every industry and will only continue to do so. We see web3 companies popping up everywhere and it’s not the future, it is now. There are several opportunities and ways for people to get involved with web3 and lots of resources out there. We are only a little over 13 years old with crypto so if you find yourself curious about crypto, just start now because it’s not going away.

Bitcoin just took another nosedive – perhaps it’s great timing to host your event, when people are looking for professional guidance and expertise at such a volatile time?

It’s a great time to host this event, especially in Monaco. With the Cannes Film Festival and the Grand Prix the same week, we are bringing this event to experts or crypto-curious individuals looking to diversify their portfolios and network with other web3 founders and investors. We have several speakers who will be at Cannes on the CoinAgenda schedule.

Tell us about the fun stuff happening in between the keynotes, panels and fireside chats?

There is an opening party on Monday evening with drinks and beats by DJ Gianni Blu. Tuesday evening will be the infamous Legendary Dinner at Buddha Bar where speakers, sponsors and attendees can enjoy a full dinner, drinks and evening of mingling.

Wednesday’s closing party is being hosted at a private villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer, sponsored by Cineverse.

What do you expect the people who attend CoinAgenda Monaco to walk away with from the event?

CoinAgenda has been the leading global blockchain investing conference series since 2014 so our relationships in the industry are what set us apart. Many of our speakers come to network, meet other entrepreneurs, investors and thought leaders and be part of the CoinAgenda community over the three day conference. During CoinAgenda we also host a pitch competition presented by BitAngels so investors have first hand access to new projects.

CoinAgenda runs 23rd to 25th May.
